Indigenous Wellness & Holistic Addictions Counsellor | Cultural Educator | Public Speaker
My name is Peter White, also known as Peter Not So White.
I am a proud member of the Yaqan Nukiy (Lower Kootenay Band) of the Ktunaxa Nation, with maternal roots in the Snohomish, Duwamish, and Snoqualmie peoples.
My journey has taken me through adversity, recovery, and cultural reconnection. After overcoming addiction and rebuilding my life through sobriety, I discovered the importance of culture, gratitude, and community in the healing process.
Today, I am an Indigenous cultural educator, Men's Northern Traditional dancer, addictions counsellor, speaker, content creator, and Red Seal Ironworker.
I combine lived experience with professional training to share Indigenous knowledge, promote wellness, and inspire resilience.
Whether I'm performing at cultural events, speaking to organizations, creating educational content, or working one-on-one with individuals.
My mission is simple: To build bridges between cultures, inspire hope, and help people reconnect with themselves, their communities, and their purpose.
